I'm Computational Biologist

About

I am a Master’s student in Computational Biology and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM) and the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). I work with the Protein Design Group, applying and developing computational methods to investigate biological processes through molecular modeling with therapeutic potential. Currently, my research focuses on developing classification models for protein‑protein interactions using public immunological datasets, exploring geometric representations, graph‑based models and leveraging interpretability to gain insights into interaction mechanisms.

As a biotechnologist and computational biologist, I believe in building great solutions for global problems, especially in the Global South, through molecular biodiversity. However, the solutions become reality when paradigms are formulated or shifted. This motivates me to combine computational and biological sciences to improve the understanding of biological processes using big data resources. In addition, I'm looking for opportunities to develop projects that bridge the gaps between the sequence-to-structure molecular knowledge.

My interests include, but are not limited to: Deep Learning,Biomolecular Modeling,Structural Biology,High-Performance Computing, and promoting FAIR and FOSS culture. These topics captivate me, but I believe great results arise from teamwork and strong relationships. That's why I am committed to fostering a collaborative, respectful, and communicative environment with my teammates.
